That article isn’t saying anything we haven’t heard before. They are on two separate shows with two separate stories to tell.

My predictions are that, if they ever get a story, it’ll likely be on TO (unless it gets canceled). Caroline will first have to find herself and grow up a bit. Compared to Klaus, she is really, really young; she need to learn to live in a non-adolescent-centered world. And, anyway it’ll probably be after the baby is born because can you imagine the drama of Caroline coming down to NOLA to find Klaus co-parenting with Hayley.

(And Caroline eventually coming to terms with the fucked up situation because she’ll never be able to have kids of her own and it’s really sad, but at least she can be a part of Klaus’s child’s life.)

Do you think people will stop whining about wanting Kol back if SPN: Tribes gets picked up?

Here’s a list of things I give no fucks about:

  1. Enzo (seriously, I just don’t give a fuck)
  2. Stefan/Caroline’s obviously upcoming romatic get together (i mean why can’t they just be friends? why can’t we have a m/f friendship without making it romantic? why are we perpetuating that stereotype?)
  3. Tyler’s drinking problem (if he’s really back just to mourn his mother  (rightfully so) and bemoan his breakup with Caroline (w/e) then I don’t know why he’s here—hopefully he and Matt rekindle their S1 bromance)
  4.  Damon’s “I’m not a good person” crisis Take 5 (seriously, every season; unless they actually do something with it and not let him go back to his old ways seven episodes later, let Damon find some reason within himself to not be an evil asshat)
  5.  Wes Maxfield and his stupid vampire experiments (I just really don’t care at all)
  6. Enzo (because i still don’t give any fucks)

After a fight, they take to glaring at each other from across the room and drowning their sorrows in liquor.

All I could think at then end of the episode was…

Okay, though, if I was Elena Gilbert at the end there, instead of wordlessly running into Damon’s arms, I would have shouted that Katherine’s trying to posses me.

I actually find it funny that people are going to protest Reign because Francis wasn’t in this episode.

Like, do you really think the show is going to end at his death?

Are you all going to stop watching when Francis dies (as he historically does)?

so what if we do stop watching? what is you issue with people’s free will to do whatever, also just FYI one of the shows tagline is THE RISE of mary stuart, like do you really think they will show all of mary’s life?? of course not

I have no issue with anyone’s free will to watch or not watch whatever you wish. (In fact, I’d probably prefer to have all of the negativity out of the fandom anyway.)

And, no, I don’t expect the show to showcase all of Mary’s life, but I do think that they might show more than just her relationship with Francis (and Bash). Especially if they follow history in any loose capacity and Francis dies.

Actually, I hope they show more than her relationship with the guys. Mary is more than a love interest. She’s a Queen as well as the goddamn main character, and she shouldn’t be reduced to the part of a ship that gets ridiculed and shamed when she makes a mistake (at 15 years old!). Yes, it’s a pretty big mistake; yes, she’s hurting Francis, but she’s also (in her mind) saving his life, and it is her story, so her thought process is pretty fucking important here.

Everyone’s made posts about this by now, but…

Caroline is in no way required to accept Elena’s relationship with Damon, even after sleeping with Klaus.

  1. Caroline is in no way required to accept Elena’s relationship with Damon, even after sleeping with Klaus.
  2. Caroline is in no way required to accept Elena’s relationship with Damon, even after sleeping with Klaus.
  3. CAROLINE IS IN NO WAY REQUIRED TO ACCEPT ELENA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH DAMON, EVEN AFTER SLEEPING WITH KLAUS.

I mean, maybe we should reverse it.

Do you really think Elena, having been in a relationship with Damon, should be required to be supportive of Caroline’s decision to sleep with Klaus?

Klaus sacrificed Elena in a ritual. Klaus killed Elena’s aunt Jenna. After the ritual (which Elena survives), he comes back to Mystic Falls to kill her again. After realizing Elena’s blood is the solution to his hybrid problem, he kidnaps her and takes her blood by force, not once but TWICE. And he’s threatened her life countless times in between all of the above events.

Caroline sees Damon as a bad guy who has done bad things to her and the people she loves, just as Elena sees Klaus as a bad guy who has done bad things to her and the people she loves. So, in short…

Ahh, but don’t you see?

By saying he’s never returning, he’s putting the proverbial ball in her proverbial court. He’s allowing her to make the decision.

He’s not going to bother her, he’s going to let her live her life the way she wants to knowing that someday, in a year or in a century, she will knock on his door.

I can’t find it in myself to like the Klaus/Marcel scene at the end

Because, once again, male character development resulted from female character death and I do not approve.
